FOREST GREEN LLAMAS & ALPACAS (since 1982)
Services provided include boarding/agistment, breeding to a selection of double-registered stud males with Peruvian, Bolivian and Chilean bloodlines, and sales of moderately-priced alpacas and llamas. All animals are guaranteed reproductively sound and ILR, ARI and/or CLAA  registered, except where sold as non-breeders. With over 25 years of experience in the breeding and management of these wonderful creatures, I provide a complete after-sales service, education and assistance for new owners, including toenail trimming, shearing and medical management techniques, and basic training and transport.

Forest Green continues to be actively involved in the Rescue, Rehabilitation, and Re-homing of both llamas and alpacas that are in need of assistance.  Updates on these animals may be found in the “What’s New” section of my site.

I no longer routinely breed my llamas  as they, like me, are getting older.  My llama herd includes both the classic ccara-type working llama suitable for packing or guardian work, and the super wooly, single-coated fibre animal, along with those simply into their retirement years.

I have recently joined with fibre enthusiast and artist Judy Gorton of Duncan, BC to form Bella Cria Canadian Alpacas. We look forward to the growth of our herd of fine Canadian-registered alpacas and to the sale of Judy’s fibre creations.
