FOREST GREEN LLAMAS & ALPACAS (since 1982)
Because the farm is for sale, I have seriously downsized the number of both llamas and alpacas at Forest Green. Most of my breeding-age llamas and alpacas have been moved, and those remaining are over the age of 13 years. I hope to be able to move them to a smaller, more manageable acreage to live out their lives with me.
Forest Green continues to be actively involved in the Rescue, Rehabilitation, and Re-homing of llamas and alpacas that are in need of assistance. Updates on these animals may be found in the “What’s New” section of my site. Look, also, for news of an exciting new venture into Miniature llamas with the acquisition of DPDL MARCUS from Millstream Miniature Llamas, and the birth of Forest Green Heather.
I recently joined with fibre enthusiast and artist Judy Gorton of Duncan, BC to form Bella Cria Canadian Alpacas. The breeding stock in this group are now located at Bella Cria Farm in Duncan, BC.
